Commissioning a piece of art work is a rare joy. Seeing your personal image become a reality though the eyes of a painter is a magical thing. The process is fairly straight forward and is fun and creative for all. This is how it works:
1) You contact Olivier Studios through e-mail or over the phone.
2) We arrange a time to discuss the ideas and goals for the piece or pieces and how we will accomplish them. (Some pieces will require a photo shoot to
create the refference images for the painting.)
3) Subject matter, size, medium and pricing are decided upon.
4) A payment of 1/2 the amount is given in the beginning and the painging process begins.
5) Sketches are created and reviewed by both you and the artist. Once approved the image goes onto canvas.
6) During the painting process there is open communication between the artist and the client.
7) There is an in-person review of the work sometime around the 3/4 mark, when possible and as needed.
8) The painting is completed and approved by both artist and client.
9) The balance of the payment is made.
10) The painting goes home with a light coat of retouch varnish. It can be given another coat of varnish after a Year.
11) Your dream is your reality.
